Honestly, I don't consider brand and logo design to be my strength. That said, I am occasionally asked to do such work. I spend a great deal of time working directly with clients, getting to know their business and their mission. It's a challenge incorporating so much into such a small visual. My method is to keep things simple and to always visualize the business card first — if pieces work there, they often translate across other collateral with ease.
